The GRE is not required for most postgraduate programs at University College Dublin (UCD). UCD evaluates applicants primarily based on their academic background, relevant job experience, and English language proficiency (as measured by the IELTS and TOEFL). However, some top schools, especially in business and engineering, may accept GRE scores as an additional credential. A strong GRE score can enhance your application by demonstrating your quantitative and analytical skills, while it is not required, particularly if your academic background is mediocre or you attended an unappreciated university.

Candidates should note that GRE total scores would be available to the candidates 8 to 10 days from their GRE test date. Once their scorecard is available on their ETS account, the conducting body will send the candidate an email notification informing them of the same.
Candidates who have opted for the GRE at Home test would get their score in the same duration.

Candidates are advised to complete their GRE slot booking early. In this way, they would be able to select their preferred date, test centre and time of taking the exam as per their wish. GRE slots could be filling up fast during the early days of the intake season, leaving test takers with a more limited number of test dates/test centres to choose from.
