Educational Testing Service is conducting body of the GRE exam. ETS has set up GRE exam centers in 46 Indian cities, including metro and tier-2 cities. Students can choose their preferred center at the time of registration.

Any score above 320 in GRE 2026 is considered good for admission. Almost all top universities worldwide can accept this score. Securing admission also depends on several other factors. Universities look for multiple factors in a student's profile.

If you get low GRE score focus on other factors. Good academic score and LOR are some of those factors which universities look for. Also, you can apply for courses where GRE is optional.

Florida State University expects a minimum cumulative GPA of 3 from international graduate applicants. The students must fulfill the eligibility by holding a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent or by holding proof of high school completion. Along with the eligibility, they must submit the required documents including academic transcripts, resume/CV, statement of purpose, work experience, essay, GPA scores, letter of recommendation, GRE/GMAT (optional), and English language requirements. In addition, the university offers test options for the GRE.

San Jose State University does not expect any minimum GRE score from graduate international candidates. In addition, graduate students must have completed a four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and submitted the necessary documents including official transcripts from all of their colleges and institutes, a statement of purpose, program-specific requirements, two letters of recommendation, the GRE or GMAT (if applicable), and English language requirements.

Georgia State University has a test-optional policy for international students, which means there is no specific need to submit GRE scores.
The chance of getting into Georgia State depends completely upon fulfilling the basic eligibility by having any graduate degree or certificate and submitting the required documents, including the documents given below -
- A statement of purpose
- letter of support
- Transcripts
- English language requirements
So, students who fulfill the basic eligibility and requirements will have a high chance of selection.

The University of California Riverside temporarily waiving the GRE requirements, however, some programs still require the GRE. The graduate programs like Biophysics accept GRE scores, also courses such as MPAc, MFin, MBA, MS in Business Analytics, or PhD programs at A Gary Anderson School of Management (AGSM) of UC Riverside, accept GMAT or GRE scores taken within the last five years.

The University of South Florida expects a minimum GRE score of 153 (verbal) from international students. Students must prefer to submit it to create a positive impact on their resumes. In addition, students must fulfill the basic eligibility by having a bachelor's degree from a recognised institute and submit the requirements including GPA scores, resume/ CV, unofficial transcripts from all previously attended institutions, English language proficiency scores, and SOP for all master programs.

For 2025 University of Southern California admissions to MSc in CS course, GRE is not required. The applicants seeking admission to this course are expected to have completed or be in the process of completing an UG degree in Computer Science or its equivalent. The documents that are required to be submitted with the online application are:
