The SIPA recommends the GRE or GMAT, but it is not a mandatory requirement. GRE/GMAT score is a complementary requirement that students can opt to pursue in case they feel they do not have a strong list of quantitative courses/ work experience as the exam scores strengthen the application.

A score above 320 can significantly improve the chances of admission.

San Jose State University does not expect any minimum GRE score from graduate international candidates. However, they expect the GRE scores from the students with a GPA of lower than 3. In addition, graduate students must have completed a four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and submitted the necessary documents including official transcripts from all of their colleges and institutes, a statement of purpose, program-specific requirements, two letters of recommendation, the GRE or GMAT (if applicable), and English language requirements.

Georgia State University provides test options to international students which means there is no specific need to submit GRE scores. The chance of getting into Georgia State depends completely upon fulfilling the basic eligibility by having any graduate degree or certificate and submitting the required documents including a statement of purpose, letter of support, transcripts, English language requirements, and more. Students who fulfill the basic eligibility and requirements will have a high chance of selection.
