There's many aspects in which both are comparable, but one must remember that there's more than one thing which affects a university and it's students.

both the universities are certainly good, but there's also some differences like MSU having been established earlier than GSFC, has a bigger alumni network, is more reputed with a big name in the industry, and relatively slightly cheaper than GSFC, along with a bigger intake of students, and offering more courses to students.
