The difference is that B.Sc. is usually available in hospitality and hotel administration for 3 years, which focusses on the jobs related to front office and other operations of hotel activities. But hotel management and catering technology say much about operations and all the aspects of food and nutrition and techniques. BHMCT is usually of 4 years. Try to check Amity University, Lovely Professional University, etc. which provide good grooming for skills required for jobs also.

Hi,
The salary depends on your job role, qualification, prior work experience you had, the hotel or restaurant you work at etc. Top tier hotels will fetch you good pay. For a hotel manager in Malaysia, the average salary is around RM 60,000 per year. In Singapore, it is around S$65,000 per year. In India, starting salary can be around Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000 per month. The average annual salary may be around Rs.500,000 to Rs.700,000.

HRM is not the richest, but has fame, recognition and respect and responsibility (Godly feeling). Marketing is dependent upon us, if we make as our routine or part of our life, then definitely it's the most the richest sector (M for Marketing = Money). While tourism is risky, with the advance in technology people are always looking for convenient and comfort (so if you're not up to the mark, you'll sink like Titanic).

Hi Pejush,
Marketing has vast scope. But the matter of fact is which specialisation you are going to prefer. I would advise you to follow your passion rather than looking for the scope. Your package is totally based on the knowledge, skills and caliber you possess. So it would be advisable if you focus more on your studies and sharpen your existing knowledge in the field of your choice.
