IELTS General module is required for job purposes abroad but it's not a guarantee. You need to have additional qualifications as the situation everywhere is very competitive, atleast for the higher level jobs.

IELTS comprises of 4 sections : Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.
If you have studied in English Medium then this test is not at all difficult.
If you ask me, I would say no preparation is required for that.
Just watch YouTube videos to understand the pattern. You can't prepare anything as it is only based on English language and you can't expect what kind of questions appear like mathematics.
Know well about the test pattern. Watch some online videos regarding the strategies and time management. I think that's more than enough
Try to score at least 7 with no band less than 6.5
all the best !!

Hi Sonal, IELTS or TOEFL would be required, you can however request for waivers from the university. On certain cases if your previous education was completed in English waivers might be possible.

Dear Samar, 4 is not an acceptable score for higher studies abroad including Switzerland. Either you must retake the IELTS or look for English pathway or foundation programs offered by the universities. Please communicate with the universities directly.
Best Wishes
