Hi
Both the tests are standardized ones and are required to maintain the uniformity across student's selection. If you avoid the testing, the universities might not be of good repute. Secondly, which master's you are planning to and where? What's the financial status etc are few things which are required to guide you further.

For MBA in Canada, you will first need to have relevant work experience. It could range from 2 years to 5 years. Most universities ask for this criteria to be fulfilled. Other than that, you will have to give GMAT and either IELTS or TOEFL exams.

Hi
Most of the universities abroad have english as their medium of instruction so its mandatory to take TOEFL/ IELTS. Also, even some university might give admission on the basis of certificate from school but you can face issues during visa.

Hello Nirav, I don't see any reason why you can't take the IELTS this year. Ofcourse you must make sure to take the test as ahead of the university deadlines. Check the IELTS website for test dates.

Here is the biggest distinction between IELTS and TOEFL: IELTS tests British English while TOEFL tests American English.
So if you are applying to UK, European countries or Australia, then IELTS is the better choice. And if you are considering US or Canada as your study destination, then TOEFL has an advantage.
