IIIT Bhagalpur has been ranked 28th by NIRF among the top IIITs of India. Also IIIT Bhagalpur has a good placement record. According to media reports, the highest package offered during IIIT Bhagalpur placements 2024 stood at INR 89 LPA. Earlier, the highest package and average package offered during IIIT Bhagalpur placements 2023 stood at INR 46 LPA and INR 15.61 LPA, respectively. The total fee for IIIT Bhagalpur BTech programme is INR 8.7 lakh. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative. Students can apply to State/Central government Scholarships. Also the fee includes JEE Main application fee for BTech programme. The application fee are INR 1,000 for boys and for girls, it is INR 800.

The selection to IIIT Bhagalpur BTech programme is based on the candidate’s JEE Main exam score followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through which they are allotted a seat. The seat allotment also depends on the college cutoff and a candidate’s preference for that course and college. JoSAA registrations usually begin from the third week of June in online mode. However, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) manages the counselling process for the remaining vacant seats.

During IIIT Manipur placements 2024 the highest and average package recorded was INR 40 LPA and INR 8.70 LPA, respectively. Whereas during IIIT Bhagalpur placements 2023 the highest package stood at INR 46 LPA and the average package stood at INR 15.61 LPA.
