Admission to IIST is solely through the IIST Online Admission Portal (admission.iist.ac.in). Candidates wishing to apply for admission must register online on the portal. IIST does not participate in JoSAA counselling.

IIST accepts JEE Main score for admission to BTech admission. However, JEE Main is not enough and candidates also need to pass JEE Advanced for admission. The large number of JEE Main applicants and limited seats makes the competition high. Aspirants generally require a high score to get admission in the BTech programme. 280 is a low score and might not be enough for a students to get admission in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology.

The marks obtained by a candidate must be at a competitive level at IIST-Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology for granting admission. The psotgraduate-level course is a two-year course offered in a full-time mode. Yes, cnadidates can defenitely do M.Tech from Indore Institute of Science and Technology, Indore. However, candidates must make sure to have a valid qualification, i.e., bchelor's degree in engineering field from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category). Further, candidates must also have a valid score in the national-level Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE.

IIST MBA course application process is conducted both in online and offline mode. To begin the application process candidates must visit the official website of IIST and upon successful submission of all the relevant details, applicants must download and take the printout of the generated “Bank Challan” for remitting the required application fee. Applicants should submit the fee in the bank with the help of “Challan” and obtain the transaction details. Enter the bank transaction details using applicant's login and upload the receipt of bank challan in order to complete the registration process.
