These new IIT are so new, that even the faculty also don't know the expected package. But, yes the main thing of package is on the student, if you bear good talent, then you can easily get good pack. Otherwise, a good institute also can't be able to give you such pack.

It is good, but IIT Jammu is still new. So, you can't expect that much placements as expected from normal IITS like Delhi Roorkee etc.

Environmental engineering is a better option, as the scope for this field is increasing rapidly day by day.

I don't think environment engineering is a good career to pursue in India as very less work about environment is done here. While IITs will definitely give you a promising career and life but I cannot say how much you will enjoy it. You may then thin about giving Indian Forest Service exam through UPSC.

Hi,
Kindly predict your college in this college predictor. JEE Mains rank predictor is an online tool which predicts the candidates rank range and probable colleges based on the difficulty level of the examination, average marks scored in JEE Mains and seats available in IITs, NITs, GFTIs, and other SFTIs. The rank predicted might not be accurate but it certainly does give an idea to the aspirant. Know your college admission chances based on your JEE Main Rank, Home State, Caste, Gender, etc. here:

Hi,
With 221 Marks in JEE mains paper 2 exams and a good score in your class 12th, you have less chances to secure admission in NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology (NITRKL).

Hi Dharshan,
You can appear once in class 12th and then next year only, for JEE advance. Yes, you can get admission in IITs if you work hard and clear JEE Advanced.
Best of luck.

Hello Sai Kriah, The entities coordinating the process of receiving applications online for different exams are aware that some students are going to make mistakes. Hence invariably after the closing date, they allow students to make corrections online. I think wait for such announcement and make corrections. Else there is always email id available of someone you can approach for any issues. Write an email to this person hoping to get a response. Best wishes.

Basically, the cutoffs for JEE Advanced exam changes every year. So, just stay tuned. But almost 20 percent is needed in all the subjects.

Yes, but last year it was JoSAA which was completed first. After that WBJEE counselling occurred by which one can take admission into JU. JU is a very good university. Placement is also very good. But not like IIT. But one preference in JU is that it takes much less money from you than any IIT.
