IIT JAM

In advance city intimation slip document candidates will only be intimated about the city where their exam centre has been allotted. The objective of this document is to help candidates prepare in advance regarding exam day travel or commute.

Candidates had to select the IIT JAM exam centre city while filling out the application form. They had to enter as many as two exam cities in preferred order. The final decision is made by the exam authorities.

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to select the exam city of JAM 2026:

 1. Visit the JAM 2026 website.

2. In the Exam City Preference section of the JAM 2026 application form, select three cities in preferential order.

3. Complete the application process by paying the requisite application fee. The exam city preference can be changed during the application correction window.

IIT JAM mock test is a simulated version of the actual Joint Admission Test for MSc JAM exam. It is designed to replicate the exam pattern, difficulty level & question types to help aspirants prepare effectively.

For the academic session 2026-2027 IIT Bombay will be conducting the JAM 2026 exam on February 15, 2026. 

You can take the IIT JAM Geology exam if you have a BA in geography. An education in Earth Sciences, Geology, or related fields is typically required to be eligible for IIT JAM Geology. Geography courses are frequently pertinent, so your degree should fulfill the requirements. No! IIT JAM is a test conducted for MSc course admissions at IITs and NITs. Since IIT does not provide an MSc in Botany course, IIT JAM exam scores are not accepted for admission to MSc Botany.
