If you pass the IIT JAM exam, then participate in the counselling process for admission to IITs and result sharing institutes. The notification regarding IIT JAM counselling will be released online.

Students can know the IIT JAM rank 2026 through exam result. IIT Bombay had announced the IIT JAM 2026 result on March 19. Candidates can check the result through JOAPS portal using the login credentials.

The salary after IIT JAM depends on the choice of course and the institute from which you graduated. Generally, after IIT JAM, students job with a decent salary.  They can work in both the private and government sectors.

After clearing IIT JAM, you need to participate in the counselling process. The authority will release IIT JAM counselling 2026 notification online. Candidates with a valid JAM score need to complete the counselling registration to participate in the admission process.

BHU MSc cutoff 2025 was published for various All India categories for admission to the MSc in Chemistry and Physics branches. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 308 to 325 for the MSc in Chemistry programme. On the other hand, for the OBC AI category, the round 1 and last round cutoff was 556. To know the cutoff for other categories, see the table below.

BHU IIT JAM cutoff 2025 concluded with the release of the final round cutoff list for various All India categories. For the OBC AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 556 to 748 for admission to the MSc course branches. In the last round, the hardest branch for admission was Chemistry, with the cutoff of 556. Students can refer to the table below to know the cutoff for the first and last round for this category.

IIT JAM counselling registration will begin on March 27, 2026, online. Candidates with a valid JAM score can participate in the counselling process. IIT JAM counselling process comprises registration, choice filling, seat allotment, seat acceptance and reporting to the allotted institutes.
