Dear Deeksha, I cannot say every institute is equal or can't compare with each other as every institute is doing well on its own. Being alumni of LPU, I would share details of LPU with you. Lovely Professional University (LPU), Punjab is a multi-faculty institution offering 145+ programmes in various fields such as engineering. Pharmacy, law, architecture, fine arts, management, etc. In Regular and ODL mode, in a state-of-the-art hi-tech campus, that spreads across 600 acres of land. You can get a degree from a Diploma to a doctoral level. Commendable Placement: In LPU, more than 550+ national and multinational companies visit for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA. Scholarships/Financial Assistance: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. Dear Gelo, As far as I know, to get admission in B.Tech at IIT, you should have qualified for both JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. On the other hand, to get admission at LPU in B.Tech, you should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class with mandatory subjects English Maths and Physics. Moreover, you have to either qualify for the LPU NEST exam or you should have a minimum of 85 percentile in JEE Mains exam. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself.
