IIT is the top most college offering Engineering programmes to students. PEC Chandigarh has many facilities that are available at the IIT. Hence, it is moving towards becoming the IIT but the route is still long. In the end, it depends on students what is best for them.

IIT Bombay conducted IIT JAM 2026. The exam was held on February 15, 2026, as computer based test. JAM 2026 was conducted seven papers.

IIT Dharwad conducts the application process in online mode. The step-wise process is provided below:

  1. Open the official website and register.
  2. Fill in the required details and complete the registration.
  3. Fill the detailed application form. In this step, candidates have to provide details of educational qualifications, parents' details, address of communication and permanent address, and exam center preference.
  4. Upload scanned images of passport-size photographs and signature.
  5. Pay the application fee.
  6. The application form will be automatically submitted after the successful payment of application fees.

Admission criteria to IIT Dharwad is both, merit and entrance based. The eligibility criteria to get into IIT DHARWAD programmes is graduation in any discipline (this may vary from course to course) with a minimum aggregate of 60%, along with entrance exams. For UG courses, candidates need to acquire a minimum aggregate of 75% in Class 12, along with valid entrance scores.
