Well, if you have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, all three in your Bachelor's degree you should first understand and analyze that which subject you like the most and you are highly interested in. Then devote atleast a year and evaluate the scope of M.Sc in that particular subject, study it and then select the subject. Don't be in a rush, take your time.

No, a BTech degree is not exclusive to only IITs. While IITs do offer BTech, various other engineering colleges in India also provide BTech degrees.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, is conducting the GATE 2026 exam. The GATE exam will take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts. Candidates appearing for the exam must download the admit card at the GOAPS portal using their login credentials.

Admission to all IIT Bhilai courses is done through various national-level entrance exams. The institute offers a wide range of programmes to students at the UG, PG, and PhD levels. Some of the popular national-level entrance exams accepted by the institute are JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, UGC, NET, etc. Hence, it is a bit difficult to get a seat for BTech at IIT Bhilai. However, with the right preparation and study strategy, it is never impossible to achieve the goal.

Yes, IIT Bhilai can be considered a good college as it has ranked 72nd by the NIRF Ranking 2025 in the Engineering category. It is a public research university and one of the leading technical institutes in Chhattisgarh to offer quality education to students in the Engineering field. Further, it is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

No, it is not easy to get admission in IIT Dharwad. The institute offers admission to students to its various courses on the basis of valid entrance exam scores. Some of the popular entrance exams accepted by the institute are JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, etc.
