IIT Bombay released a common application form for all the IITs for the UCEED 2026 Joint Seat Allocation on March 14, 2026, at 10 PM. The registration was open till April 10, 2026, 5:30 PM.

Naturally, older IITs like IIT Kharagpur have a vast alumni network and much higher salary packages, with peaks reaching over INR 2 crore, compared to Dharwad's the highest package of approximately INR 40-52 LPA. However, for an average student, IIT Dharwad provides competitive median salaries around INR 11.62 LPA, which is strong.

In BTech branches at IIT Dharwad, seats are distributed across multiple disciplines. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Mechanical Engineering with 62 seats each. Other branches like Electronics and Communication have 42 seats and Electrical and Mathematics and Computing, Engineering Physics, Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, each with 28 seats.

The total seat capacity for the BTech programme is 385, that includes seats for reserved category as well as Female-Only supernumerary seats designed to improve gender diversity on campus. The exact number may vary slightly based on final JoSAA 2026 seat matrix updates.

The students who wants to get admission into BHU IIT, Varanasi must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the course. They must appear and clear the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exams to qualify for further admission process. For the BTech course admission students must complete class 12th from recognised board with minimum 75% marks. Then they must appear for JoSAA councelling process.

Yes, if you belong to the General AI category, you can get admission to CSE at IIT Tirupati with a JEE Advanced cutoff rank of 4000. The cutoff rank for admission varies across different categories and rounds. In 2025, for CSE admission, the last round cutoff ranks varied between 4620 and 5034 for the students belonging to the General AI quota.

For IIT Tirupati, the JEE Advanced last round closing ranks ranged between 5034 and 16548 for BTech admission in the General category under the AI quota. Likewise, the cutoff range varies across different categories and rounds. For the last round, the category-wise range is given below:
