COAP registration portal is only for IITs. COAP, Common Offer Acceptance Portal provides a common platform for the candidates to seek admission into M.Tech programs in the IITs on the basis of GATE score.

Case I: Candidates graduating / graduated from IITs who have a valid GATE score (2024 and/or 2023 and/or 2022) and intend to apply for the Admission in the participating Institutes, then the candidate should register at COAP 2024 with their valid GATE score (s).
Case II: Candidates graduating/ graduated from IITs with B.Tech. Degree and having CGPA (cumulative grade point average) of 8.0 (on a scale of 10) and above can directly apply to the respective Institutes for M.Tech. Admission. They should not register at COAP.

Acceptance Rate & Eligibility: On an average while 20 students are selected out of every 100 students that apply to Stanford University, only 1 student out of 100 is likely to be selected in top IITs in India
Fee: Course fee of some of the prominent courses such as BTech and MBA at Stanford University are comparatively higher when compared to IITs in India.

Harvard University and IITs in India are considered to be among the top institution across the world for academia and research work. Ranked globally, the acceptance rate of both Harvard University in US and IITs in India are considered to be highly competitive.

Yes ! If you have confidence on yourself that you will get 75% in boards in betterment exam and also cracked JEE Mains and JEE advance paper with rank under 10000 then surely go for it. Don't listen to anyone if you have confidence on yourself beacuse at the result is the only thing that matters.so surely go for it. You will surely Crack the IIT.
