- Few copies of passport-size photographs
- Transparent water bottle

Candidates can check the important points from here before attempting the IIT JAM mock test:
- The total duration of the examination is 180 minutes.
- The clock will be set on the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of screen will display the remaining time available for you to complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. You will not be required to end or submit your examination.
- To answer a question, do the following
- Click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of your screen to go to that numbered question directly. Note that using this option does NOT save y

Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to gain access to the official IIT JAM mock test:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT JAM
Step 2: Navigate to the ‘'Examination’ tab
Step 3: Look for ‘Mock Test Links’ in the drop-down menu
Step 4: Click on the IIT JAM paper/subject
Step 5: Click on the 'Sign In' button (The login details are already filled in)
Step 6: Read the instructions and click on 'Next'
Step 7: Check the box for 'agree to the terms and conditions'
Step 8: Click on 'I am ready to begin'
