The Illinois State University acceptance rate is 86%. This shows that the university follows moderate selection criteria when it comes to ISU admission. Students with average academic performance still have some chances of selection, though they must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria. The parameters on which they accept international students include academic performance, standardized test scores, GPA, English proficiency scores, and prior experience. In addition, international students who take part in extracurricular activities are preferred over the other students in ISU.
