The eligibility criteria to get admission to Physics, through CUET in India are as follows:

  • Students must have completed their Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Students must secure 45-50% marks in Class 12 or an equivalent examination to be eligible for CUET exam.

In India,  about 270+ Science colleges are accepting CUET scores. No, you will be eligible for admission to colleges if you fail in chemistry and pass other subjects in the West Bengal Board HS exams as a minimum percentage or minimum passing score for all courses is required.

Supplementary Exam: If a student fails a subject, such as chemistry, the West Bengal Board may conduct further exams.
