No, you cannot get into Anna University with a rank of 70000 if you belong to the General AI category. The highest cutoff rank for this category was 40009 for the B.E. in Mechanical Engineering course.
General AI category candidates need to secure ranks between 11767 and 40009 to be considered eligible for admission.
Note - Candidates should keep in mind that this is the cutoff for the General AI category; other categories will have different cutoffs.

Indian students who want to take admission to SFU should pass Class 12. Along with this, they must have minimum 50% in Maths. Whereas, those who want to take admission to PG courses of SFU, they must have a Bachelor's degree. Work experience and standardized test scores may also be required for some of the Graduate courses.

Best PGDM colleges in Bangalore GIBS provides admission/merit based scholarships and other financial aid, mainly based on entrance exam scores (CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA), academic performance, leadership, and need‑based criteria, with amounts ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹75,000 or more for eligible PGDM and BBA students.
Scholarship slabs usually start around 60–65 percentile+ in CAT or equivalent exams, with higher percentiles getting larger awards.
