IISc Bangalore was established in 1909 and is approved by the University Grants Commission. IISc Bangalore is also a member of the Association of Indian universities and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade and has been ranked 1 and 2 by the NIRF 2023

IISc and IIIT are not doing lateral admission in B.Tech courses. The admission in IISc in B.Tech courses are based on JEE Advanced ranks, while JEE Main is for IIITs.

Yes, you can apply for both of the courses, if meeting the eligibility criteria. B.Tech admission in IISC will be based on JEE Advanced only. While B.Sc. (R) admission will be based on JEE Main/Advanced, NEET/ IISER scores. You need to pay separate application fee for both of the courses.
