Hi, IISc does not offer any master degree course. So after completing B.Sc. A student can get admission into IISc Integrated Ph.D. programme through JEST and JAM entrance exam. IISc in one of the best university in India and its reputation is not only in India but in foreign land as well and that's why completing your post graduate from IISc offers extra advantage than any other university in India. 1. Materials Science
Learn to do things like XRD, spectroscopy techniques, chemical depositions, thin film studies, making glasses etc.
2. Statistical mechanics
Do some computational work in soft matter Physics advanced stat mech. Etc. Learn to produce random numbers, monte carlo simulation etc.
