For the General AI quota, the IIT Madras CSE cutoff 2025 stood at 171 in the first round. Till the last round, the cutoff remained the same, indicating all seats got filled after the first round of the JEE Advanced cutoff. For IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay, the CSE cutoff ranks were closed at 126 and 66, respectively, for the same category. So, considering the cutoff ranks, the IIT Madras cutoff for CSE was comparatively less competitive for admission among the Engineering aspirants as compared to that of IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay.

No, IIT Delhi does not offer a defence personnel (ward) quota for M.Sc. (Economics) admissions. Reserved seats in this programme are allocated only for SC, ST, OBC NCL, EWS, and PwD categories, following standard reservation norms. There is no separate quota for children or wards of defence personnel.

Yes — IIT Delhi is discontinuing its 5-year Integrated B.Tech + M.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering from July 2024, so 2025 batch students will also no longer be able to apply for the dual-degree programme in CSE at IIT Delhi.

  •  But they will still offer a regular 4-year B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, which is a desired and highly competitive programme at the institute.
  •  If your desired programme at IIT Delhi is CSE, you will still have the regular B.Tech route — you will just not have the option to complete the integrated M.Tech at the same time.
