IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay accept the UCEED exam for B.Des admission. However, IIT Delhi offers a B.Des course via its own campus, and IIT Bombay offers a full-time B.Des course via its centre called the Industrial Design Centre (IDC).

During the UCEED cutoff 2026, the IIT Delhi admission was closed at a cutoff rank of 28. For IIT Bombay, the admission was closed at 14 for the General AI category students.

Considering the ranks, it is evident that IIT Bombay is more competitive for B.Des admission. To choose the colleges, candidates can also compare the below aspects.

CollegeMedian Salary (2024)Tuition fees

IIT BombayINR19.6 LPA8 Lakhs

No, IIT Delhi offers admission to its BTech course based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores only. Candidates selected based on exam scores are required to participate in the JoSAA counselling. This is the final criteria for admission. However, to be eligible for the BTech courses, students should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate with Science subjects (i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).

National Insurance Academy and DMS IIT Delhi are two of the popular institutions for studying an MBA/PGDM. The National Insurance Academy PGDM course fee is INR 11 lakh for two years. In contrast, the fee for the two-year MBA course at DMS IIT Delhi is INR 12 lakh. Comparing both, the National Insurance Academy is clearly the more economical option in terms of pursuing an MBA. The mentioned fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and, hence, is indicative.
