In order to study in the USA, Indiana University does provide financial aid and scholarships. In the most recent academic year, 71% of IU undergraduates received a grant or scholarship aid. IU students received more than $272 million in scholarships and awards. International students have the option of working both on and off campus. The Office of International Affairs on campus must provide permission for a student to work on campus. Once approved, they are only permitted to work 20 hours per week throughout the autumn and spring semesters. They may put in over 20 hours of labour while taking breaks.

All the courses and programs offered at Indiana University are taught in the English language. Indiana University requires international students to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. The minimum English language requirement for various courses are as follows:

  • TOEFL: Overall 60 for undergraduate courses and 79 courses for graduate courses

For IU Germany admission, international students are required a IELTS score minimum level of 6.0. Students need to provide proof of English language proficiency if their native language is not English. Apart from IELTS, the university accepts other English language proficiency tests, which are listed below:

·      TOEFL (minimum 80 points)

·      IELTS (minimum Level 6)

·      Duolingo English Test (minimum 95 points)

Note: Students need to provide a proof before the start of the study and must not be older than five years.
