Hello Rashid,
There are about 12K seats in all IITs put together. Out of these, only 50% are available for general candidates. Your son's rank is 10K. So you can imagine where he stands.
However, to help you I am attaching a link that will predict an IIT for you-

Hello, hope you are doing well.
No, you need to score 75% in 12th class. Then only you will be eligible to get the JEE Advanced colleges. If you will give the exam of JEE next year, this issue will still persist. Go for JEE Mains counselling. With this rank, you will get a great college.
Don't go for drop as this will waste your time for 1 year.

Hello, hope you are doing well.
No, you need to score 75% without any back in 12th class. Then only will you be eligible for JEE Advance counselling. If you failed in physics, you must clear that exam and if secured 75%, then only you will get the best JEE Advanced college under category quota SC.
All the best.

Hello, hope you are doing well.
For SC candidates, the cutoff per subject in JEE Advanced is 6 marks and you need to score 63 minimum aggregate marks to qualify for JEE Advanced counselling.
Hope you have scored well in JEE Advanced and are getting the best college. All the best.

Hello, hope you are doing well.
As you said you have 70% in 12th, you are not eligible to take colleges on the basis of JEE Advanced rank. You should go with JEE Mains ranking. If you have ranking under 70000, then you must go for government colleges along with your favourite branch. Try to find some best colleges of your state and go for counselling.
All the best.

No, you might not even get qualified. But don't get disappointed. As the ultimate aim is to have a career which you are interested in. Your path can also be achieved through other colleges. Just stay focused and plan your career wisely.
All the best.

Hello, hope you are doing well.
Yes, definitely, you are eligible to get NIT on the basis of OBC NCL ranking because with CRL ranking, it may not be possible to get an NIT. You should try for MANIT Bhopal, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut, etc.
Also, you have a chance to opt for IITs also. Find the best one and go for counselling.
All the best.
