With a score of 196 out of 300 in JEE Mains you can expect your percentile score to be 97-98 percentile which is based on cutoff analysis & percentile determining formula used by NTA. 196 out of 300 is a good score you can get good NITs with popular branches like Computer Science Engineering. The exact percentile varies depending upon the marks scored by candidates in a specific shift and the difficulty of exam in that shift.
