This year, there is no criteria for 75% in 12 in order to get the seat in IIT. It might there is chance that next year too this will be applicable. So, I suggest you to focus on preparation regarding the Fee 2019 and if you think it will be better to go for improvement then go ahead. If you have further query please feel free to ask.

Firstly, you must try to maximize your JEE Main score to bag a seat in PEC. According to the previous year cut-off analysis of PEC admissions, you must score approximately 220+ Marks for hassle-free admission process in your preferred stream for general category.
