No, there is no provision of JEE marks in UPTU. In almost all the colleges, there are some private colleges that also take admission through the JEE marks also in that you might get some benefit.

Hi Atul,
I would not suggest anyone to drop any of his/her precious years. Most of the time people who drop after making several tries do not make it to JEE and then inevitably, they go for some private college after wasting a few precious years of their lives. The trick is that if you are confident and sure enough that you'll clear JEE, then you should go ahead and drop (still not more than a year). You can get direct admission in many good private colleges on the basis of your 12th marks too.

You have to take the permission from your school. If they allow you, then you can able to write the exam. You have to prepare well to score good result as its very competing exam. For that, you have to contact your school authority and then they will discuss with you the whole procedure.

Yes, you can easily get the admission in this college but you have to wait for the spot counselling as before that there are very less chances of getting this college.

Hi Kaustubh,
You can't get admission in Diploma course in VIT. But you can get an admission for a degree course once you complete your Diploma with around 80%.

SGSITS is a good college so instead of preparing for JEE you can either opt for CAT so that new opportunities will be available for you.
