Hello Shruti,
You have marks that can get you admission. But if you had scored just 25 more, it may have been better. Don't worry. I am attaching a link that will predict college for you.

Don't waste your 2-3 years. Instead, take admission in a good college and pursue engineering, and become a good engineer.
Good luck.

Hello Yuva Kiran,
Yes, you can get a seat at Sastra University. Your chances are high. They consider your board exam percentage and JEE scores (97.8&62). Your percentile will be 97.8(0.75)+62(0.25)= 88.85. On this basis, you will be placed on a rank.
Apply if you have not and the last date is June 10.
All the best!

Hello,
I thought that Muslims don't come under OBC. But 49 out of 360 is bit less and I feel you have less chance. However I am attaching a link that will predict college for you:

For general category, it is tough to get admission in computer engineering.
Last year cut-offs were around 155-160.
You have a good chance for IT in PICT.

Sorry to say but chances are very slim unless and until you belong to SC/ST category.

Hello Divyanshu,
No, you can't, you have to go through the process of admission and they didn't accept JEE Mains marks. But if your marks are more than 80% in 12th then you can get admission directly.

R.D Sharma & R.S Agarwal are the best books to start with for entrance preparation. Its clear concepts in simple English should always be in verse with. After that, if you desire to get above 170, you need a planned study with the help of coaching for the entrances. Moreover, the schools are also very important to clear your doubts.
