your 12th percentage will not matter from next year in JEE ranking . and it doesn't matter if you have 88 in board all it matter is weather you are ready to be alone for a year or you are ready to dedicate a full year to study and remember it is very difficult I am also a dropper and also I found it very hard to study after December because I was studying the same thing
so all last it is all up to you .

From 2017 the pattern will be changed. The rankings in JEE will totally depend upon Your mains score, the percentage of Your board exams will not be counted

PSG college is a very good college.
i think its avery good option.wasting a year for attempting jee next year may not be a good idea in my opinion.

ofcourse you are eligible. but i would rather prefer u to do 12th again with up board. because there is much chance of getting a greater % with that board.also u can prepare for jee and do better

My dear friend your choice is good engineering has lot of future scope ,engineering is a technical education. You should try through CAP round process will start soon .as far as college is concern I would like to suggest you try to get admission in government college
