If you want admission at DCRUST without writing the JEE exam choose any of the following:

B.Tech (Lateral Entry):-

Diploma holders or B.Sc. graduates can apply for admission via lateral entry into the second year of the B.Tech. The university's entrance exam and the qualifying examination (diploma or B.Sc.) are the main factors that can provide admission.

2. Direct Admission to Other Programs:-

Admissions to courses other than B.Tech are determined by merit or by results of university-conducted entrance exams or other nationally recognised exams (e.g., GATE for M.Tech, CMAT/CAT for MBA).

3. University Entrance Exam

There are less chances for you to get admission to JEE Mains with rank 295450, even if you are from the EWS category.

The last round cut-off rank for the EWS category was 2400 in 2023. That means it was around the 99 percentile.

You need to score higher to get admission to the college.

I hope it will help.

You can get With a Common Rank List (CRL) rank of 4.9 Lacs and an EWS category rank of 72,000 in JEE Mains, admission to NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs chance is less. These colleges generally have much higher cutoffs. However, you can check some other state engineering colleges or private colleges, which might have lower cutoff ranks. you should check individual college cutoffs and consider state quota advantages if available and go through it.
