Yes, you can join Dr D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering Management and Research (DYPIEMR) for B.Tech even if you haven't appeared for JEE Main. DYPIEMR considers other entrance exams as well, such as state-level engineering entrance exams or their entrance exam. While JEE Main is a widely recognised entrance exam, there are alternative pathways for admission to engineering colleges. In addition you can contact the college directly for further information. It is possible to enrol in a B.Tech programme at APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) without taking the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. For admission to a variety of undergraduate engineering programmes, including B.Tech, KTU administers its own entrance exam known as the Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) entrance exam. Although JEE Main is a nationally recognised entrance exam, it is not the sole exam accepted by all schools for admission to engineering colleges in India.

Yes,

The Central University of Jammu (CUJ) offers admission to its B.Tech programs through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). JEE Mains scores are not mandatory for admission. CUJ conducts its own entrance exam (CUET) for B.Tech admissions. You can check cutoff marks of CUET for admission in CUJ. CUJ has switched entirely to CUET for all undergraduate programs, including engineering.

Hence you cannot get admitted into CUJ by JEE Mains anymore.

Yes,  you can apply for B.Tech at TMU without taking JEE Main exam. Admission at TMU is based on both merit and entrance exams. The university conducts it's own entrance exam called TRAT and generates a merit list based on the scores obtained in exam.

Additionally, TMU also accepts national-level entrance exams such as CUET-UG, JEE Main, UPCET, etc. For admission to specific courses.

To be eligible for TMU B.Tech, you must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Maths & Chemistry (or computer Science), and have passing marks in English too this are some tips.

A minor spelling mistake in your mother's name on the JEE Mains application form is likely not a major issue. If the misspelling is minor, it should not cause any problems. Check the official JEE Mains website to see if there is a correction window open for the application form. If there is, try to correct the spelling during that period. If there is no correction window or the misspelling is very minor, you can take the exam without worry. Obtaining an affidavit from a notary public can provide additional documentation in case of issues. For more information, check previous discussions on forums on different websites. It's best to act

For B.Tech admissions at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology, the entrance exams required are the Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate CET or JEE Main Paper I for candidates from Maharashtra State, and for All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates, a valid score in CET or JEE Main Paper I is necessary. However, preference is given to JEE Main scores over MHT-CET for All India Candidates.
