Yes, JEE Main scores are required for admission to the B.Tech courses at Vel Tech University. The university conducts its own entrance exam called VTUEEE for admission to B.Tech courses, but JEE Main scores are also accepted. In addition to JEE Main scores, candidates must have scored at least 75% marks in their 10+2 examination to be eligible for admission to B.Tech courses at Vel Tech University

Hello, The official web page of Crescent School of Life Sciences has not mentioned the scores required on the JEE Main exam by a candidate to get admission. The college only mentions the below infornation as part of the admission process. Students must fulfil the below to get admission to B.Tech course.
- A pass in 12th standard exams conducted by State Board/ CBSE/ ISC board or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% scores in PCM
- Must have given the Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT 2023) or should have a valid score in JEE (Main)

Hi, On checking the official website, I could not find any data on the percentile required in JEE Mains by BTech candidates. This means that the college either dos not release this data online on the website or accept just the JEE Main passouts with any percentile. The college, on its official website, mentions that students who wish to get into the BTech course in Crescent School of Life sciences must have passed Class 12 exams conducted by State Board / CBSE / ISC or equivalent board with at least 50% marks in PCM/B. Yes, you can join a BTech course without appearing for JEE in India. Many engineering colleges have their own entrance exams or other eligiblity for BTech.

JEE Main exam dates for BTech programme for admission to NIT Nagaland have been released. The same can be checked by clicking here. As per the exam pattern of JEE Mains, the exam is conducted online as a Computer Based Test. JEE Main will have three papers, Paper 1 for admission to BE/BTech course, Paper 2A for BArch admission and Paper 2B for BPlan course admission. The duration of the JEE Main exam is three hours and has Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. JEE Main Paper 1 will have a total of 90 questions while Paper 2A and 2B have 82 and 105 questions respectively.
