The most sufficient time to prepare for the Joint Entrance Examination ( JEE) is two years, which is class 11th and 12th.

However the minimums time that one needs to complete the syllabus of the examination is six months.

For mathematics, topics like Algebra, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate geometry, calculus, Vectors and 3D geometry should be practiced enough. For chemistry, practice as many questions as you can for physical chemistry, by heart NCERT for inorgani

Your 70% score in JEE Mains puts you in a good position for consideration by the School of Engineering and Technology (SOET) at BML Munjal University. However, the mere score doesn't guarantee admission as the selection process is holistic and considers various factors.

Here's a breakdown of your chances:

Meeting the minimum requirements:

  • Minimum JEE Mains percentile required for B.Tech. at SOET is generally 60%,  which you comfortably meet.
  • This means you have cleared the initial hurdle and your application will be further evaluated.

JEE score is not accepted by SKD university. The university does accept merit-based admissions for its undergraduate programs. The minimum eligibility criteria for UG programs are 10+2 or equivalent, and for PG programs, a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The admission process is conducted through a State-Level Entrance Test called "Engineering, Agricultural Sciences and Medical Common Entrance Test" (EAMCET).
