There is no state ranking; instead, approximately 50% of seats at each NIT are reserved for students from the home state. The home state quota is for those students who have passed their 12th grade in the state in which NIT is situated. The JEE only publishes your composite rank list (CRL) and category rank. Based on this, each NIT publishes their closing ranks in different rounds for their home state and other candidates. For example, while the closing rank for the general category for another state applicant may be 34000, it will be different for home state candidates in the same category.

According to the previous year's JEE counseling guidelines, you are required to submit a medical Certificate during JoSAA (JEE) counseling. The format of the required medical Certificate is available in the JoSAA guideline and notification pdf. You can visit the nearest government hospital to get your checkup done and fill up the form accordingly. This includes height, weight, vision, etc. You need to get this form signed and get the seal of the designated authority. During the counseling process, you need to submit this format along with other documents.

Hello,
I am afraid that there is no Artificial intelligence-operated software that can detect errors. A student is supposed to take down a copy of the filled application form, online, and then read it at leisure later on if finding a defect or error can wait for the error correction window that NTA invariably opens up for 2-3 days. However, NTA does not allow correction in all fields but only limited fields. Okay? Best wishes to you.

Hello Ganga, seats reserved under this category are 10%. With 50000 total seats, it comes to 5000 while your rank is about 18000. So you can SEE for yourself where you stand. Correct? Here I would like to advise you to take break of one year, study well and score handsomely to get better ranking which in turn will get you admission. Best wishes to you.
