College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. It offers a full-time, four-year B.Tech across eight specializations at the undergraduate level. To be eligible, the candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. They must also have obtained the 45% aggregate. For admission into this college, Maharashtra state candidates must appear for the MHT CET whereas other state candidates need to appear for either the MHT CET or JEE Mains entrance exam. However, according to college rules, AJEE Mains score is usually preferred over the MHT CET. To get admission in the COEP on the basis of JEE Main score you will need to participate in counselling process of college. The counseling for COEP is conducted by DTE Maharashtra. So when registration starts, you have to register on the official website of DTE for the counseling process to get admission. Based on your score and preference, if available, admission will be granted.
