VITLEE 2026: The application form for the Vellore Institute of Technology Law Entrance Examination (VITLEE) is out. The registration process is going on. The last date to fill the application form is April 12, 2026. The application fee is INR1200. The VITLEE exam will be held on May 3, 2026. What is VITLEE?

The Vellore Institute of Technology Law Entrance Examination (VITLEE) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Law Programmes at VIT Chennai. VITLEE will be conducted across 53 cities in India. VITLEE is held to enroll students in various undergraduate courses like; B.A. LLB, BBA L.L.B (Hons.), offered at the Chennai Campus. The syllabus for VITLEE includes questions from five areas namely English, GK and current affairs, logical reasoning.

Students who successfully clear the examination are called for a personal interview. The institute will release the VITLEE 2026 personal interview details at its official website.  After clearing the admission process, candidates are admitted into 5-year LLB programmes of VITSOL.

  • Candidates born on or after July 1, 2004
  • Class 12 exam from recognised board. 70% aggregate marks (10% relaxation for SC/ST candidates and candidates from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

Students who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria for VITLEE 2026 will be disqualified from the admission process.

VITSOL Chennai will release the admit card 48 hours before the start of the examination. The admit card will be released online. The students must download their admit card from the website using their login details, before the examination. The institute sends the admit card copy on the registered email-id of the candidate.

The admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the examination hall. Candidates must carry a valid ID proof along with a copy of admit card, on the day of the examination.
