What is VITLEE?
The Vellore Institute of Technology Law Entrance Examination (VITLEE) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Law Programmes at VIT Chennai. VITLEE will be conducted across 53 cities in India. VITLEE is held to enroll students in various undergraduate courses like; B.A. LLB, BBA L.L.B (Hons.), offered at the Chennai Campus. The syllabus for VITLEE includes questions from five areas namely English, GK and current affairs, logical reasoning.
Students who successfully clear the examination are called for a personal interview. The institute will release the VITLEE 2026 personal interview details at its official website. After clearing the admission process, candidates are admitted into 5-year LLB programmes of VITSOL.

- Candidates born on or after July 1, 2004
- Class 12 exam from recognised board. 70% aggregate marks (10% relaxation for SC/ST candidates and candidates from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
Students who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria for VITLEE 2026 will be disqualified from the admission process.
