Percentages of categories of candidates to be shortlisted for JEE Advanced are: 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and the remaining 40.5% is OPEN for all.

-33 is the lowest cutoff. However, if you score such a low score you will not be eligible for admission in any good college or institute. Even if you apply in private college accepting JEE Main score, there also you will have the fewer chance of admission.

Yes, NTA and percentile are exactly the same score which an individual has got. Let's say, 100 students have appeared for JEE Main exam and from that nine students got more than 250 out of 300.

At 71 percentile your JEE Main rank will be around 250000-300000. You should apply in State Engineering Colleges or try to get admission in private colleges like: Amity University.

Yes, you are eligible for JEE Advance exam. For OBC category the cutoff is 45. A candidate must be among the top 2.5 Lacs successful candidates of the BE/B.Tech paper of JEE Main 2023 to be eligible for JEE Advanced. This include candidates of all categories 10% GEN-EWS, 27% OBC-NCL, 15% SC, 7.5% ST, 40.5% open with 5% horizontal reservation for PwD in each category.
