One more thing to understand is JEE Main percentile and NTA score is the same thing. Candidates who have confusion can get an understanding from below. Candidates will come across three terms Raw marks, NTA marks, and Percentile. Let us say the maximum marks of the examination is 300 and nine candidates have obtained 250 out of 300. Here, 250 marks is the raw marks. Now, suppose a total of hundred candidates appeared in the JEE Main. Then the percentile and NTA score will be calculated by
Raw score obtained by candidates = 250
Number of candidates obtained same raw score = 9
Total number of candidates taken the exam = 100
Check the names

Hello Vaishnavi, scoring good percentile in JEE Mains is no guarantee for a seat in c o e p. This is so since admissions of almost all colleges in the state of Maharashtra are through common entrance test called mht-cet. Of course there will be some seats in c o e p which may be filled up via JEE Mains, called all India quota seats, but how many seats and in which branch is not known at the moment. But with your present percentile you can perhaps get admission in a very good NIT in your desired branch.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Indra, yes as you have said, your ranking in JEE Mains is a bit on the lower side. This may cause some problems in getting admission in premier NIT. But help is at hand. I am attaching a link that can predict which college and which branch you can get based on your performance in this entrance exam. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor
Best wishes to you.

Hi, As per the new norms of the institute, now you may not get admission without JEE Mains as there are counsellings going on basis of that only.

For BITS your BITSAT score will be considered for admission. You can appear in the counseling process which starts in mid of October. After counseling, you will get a clear picture of the branch as it tends to change every year. Your JEE is irrelevant to your admission to BITS as it is not considered. All the best!
