Dear Sunil Nayak, LPU considers the JEE Mains percentile instead of marks. So, if you have a minimum of 85 percentile in the JEE Mains, then you may get admission to the B.Tech directly. If you have not 85 percentile in the JEE Mains, then you need to qualify for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Dear Anuj, Yes, LPU is good for the B.Tech in CSE. Moreover, you need not worry about the JEE Mains if have not qualified. You can appear for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU and can get admission easily. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. The eligibility criteria for this programme is that the student should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class and should have a minimum of 85 percentile in the JEE Mains exam.
