A candidate allocated a seat will be cancelled, and he or she will no longer be able to participate in the subsequent rounds of the seat allocation process (if any) if he or she does not complete all the steps of the online reporting process, including the payment of seat acceptance fee.

Yes, you can. Since you're an OBC student you have chances of getting a college.

Try your luck and fill JOSAA counseling.

Here's the eligibility for SC (Scheduled Caste) female students to apply for JoSAA counseling:

  1. They need to have passed their 12th-grade exams with 65% marks and a good score in the JEE Main or JEE Advanced exams.

  2. There's no age restriction; anyone who meets the educational requirements can apply.

  3. SC female candidates might have some relaxation in terms of score requirements compared to others, but the specific rules can differ between colleges.

If your family income is less than 1 Lacs per year, you still need to pay during JoSAA counselling.

If you accept a seat then only you need to pay fees.

Also your fee will be refunded when you are in college.

Dear student, here is an explanation of the JoSAA counseling process:

  1. Registration: Sign up on the JoSAA website after JEE Main or JEE Advanced exams.

  2. Choose Your Preferences: Pick the courses and colleges you want to study at.

  3. Practice Allotment: JoSAA shows you a practice allotment to help you understand what you might get.

  4. Real Seat Allotment: JoSAA does multiple rounds of seat allocation based on your rank and choices.

  5. Confirm Your Seat: If you're happy with the seat you're offered, confirm it. If not, you can try for a better one.

  6. Check Documents: Go to a reporting center to verify your documents and confirm your seat.

You need not worry. It's clearly written in JOSAA that:

"If you do not lock your choices, last saved choices will be locked automatically upon reaching the deadline for choice filling. The automatically locked choice list will be considered for allocating a seat during JoSAA."
