Yes, there is a fee associated with the JoSAA counselling process. However, it’s not a registration fee but a Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF). The SAF is to be paid by candidates who have been allotted a seat and wish to accept it. The fee amount is as follows:

For SC/ST/PwD categories: Rs 20,000
For General/OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS categories: Rs 45,000

Once the JEE Advanced results are out, students must register for JoSAA counselling. It is a centralized counselling process for admissions to premier Indian institutions including IIT Roorkee. The steps to log into JoSAA counselling account is as follows:

  • VIsit the official website of JoSAA select “JoSAA Candidate Registration and Choice Filling”

  • After that, log in to your candidature acocunt by filling in the JEE (Main) or JEE (Advanced) application number and password

  • Ensure that all the personal information displayed on your profile is accurate

 If someone is not able to submit EWS certificate even during JoSAA counselling, he/she will not be considered for the EWS category since no proof is being submitted. But, this does not mean you can not take part in JoSAA as you can still change your category during counseling.

Hey, At this rank aws 49,000 in JEE- 24 you can get admitted in some of GFTI like Punjab Engineering College chandigarh Ghani Khan Choudhary Institute of Engineering and Technology, Malda, West Bengal as per data available on the Josaa counseling website for more clearity you can also check their opening and closing rank at JOSAA website of all the courses by rank and your category hence you can select and see the branch, the colleges as per your rank.

Hi Aryan,

The last rank to be allocated in JEE 2023 by JoSAA counselling was 42,135. The cut-off was for the Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur to enrol in the Electronics and Communication Engineering course.
