Sorry to say that, you cannot apply for KCET examination being from another state as the eligibility criteria specify that any candidate wishes to appear for the entrance examination should have studied and passed in one or more government or government recognised institutions in the state of Karnataka for a minimum period of seven years. Therefore, if you fulfil the above-mentioned criteria, you can surely apply and if not, then I am sorry you cannot appear for this exam.

Karnataka CET is being conducted for Domicile students of Karnataka, there are exceptions for the wards of state & government employees & defense personnel.
Find below eligibility criteria to apply for K-CET entrance in Karnataka.
1. Those candidates who have studied for complete TEN academic years in Kannada language from 1st to 10th standard outside Karnataka need not to appear for the Kannada Language Test conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
