So, to get into one of those top colleges in silicon city like Bangalore, as per the statistics of the previous year, you need to get atleast 280 rank through general category for those like RV, MSRIT, PES. That means, your marks should be around 89 -90% minimum. That is 275 and above for the main 3 subjects which is out for 300. There is only one difference between these two and the difference is only Karnataka students are eligible for KCET and rest other than Karnataka students are eligible for COMEDK for same colleges in the state of Karnataka.
