Yes, in one or other sense, the marks in 12th class affects KCET results. There is an proper eligibility criteria for which you need to acquire a certain 12th percentage to be eligible for the KCET exam. The course-wise percentage criteria is given below alongwith other eligibility norms:

A candidates will not encounter any difficulty in getting a seat for CSE at Vijaya Vittala Institute, if he/she scoring 3200 rank under General and 4000 under OBC category. This is because the cutoff in itself released very high in 2024. The Vijaya Vittala Institute of Technology cutoff 2024 stood between 110455 and 270982 for the General AI category. Similarly, for OBC AI category, the remained the same as of General AI category.

Vijaya Vittala Institute offers various B.E. courses via KCET exam scores. In 2024, the Vijaya Vittala Institute of Technology cutoff 2024 for the General AI category candidates stood between 33447 and 101248. Wherein, for CSE (AI and ML) program, the cutoff stood 119035. As we can see the cutoff is much higher than the rank acquired by the candidate. So, it is very easy for a candidate to secure a seat for AI and ML programme with this rank.
