As per the TNEA 2024 last-round cutoff, the closing ranks varied between 15622 and 52833 for the General AI category students. The cutoff was relased for BE/ BTech across multiple specialisations of which B.E in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive one. TNEA is the admission process to do for candidates who want to join the B.E. / B.Tech programs offered by the Kongu Engineering College (KEC). This is done through online mode at the official website of TNEA where candidate has to enter his/her personal details and also academics information. Upon registration the students will have to present their marks sheet of the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 and while doing the counseling session opting KEC as a preferred college. The qualifying standards for Kongu Engineering College (KEC) are different year to year, and depend strictly on number of candidates and number of seats, and the general merit as well. For instance, while closing the ranks for the different specializations of B.E. and B.Tech courses in the recent admission session, ranged between 15622 and 75324. These ranks do not show a definite cutoff mark, but these numbers show how competitive each programme is. Hence if scholarship is a priority then one has to work hard and perform better to increase one’s chances of getting admission in KEC.
