A glimpse of Kongu Engineering College.

Placements: In the EIE department, students who were willing for the placements are placed mostly, one or two are pending. It is a great achievement from our department this year. More than 90% of students are placed. The average salary package offered will be 4.5 LPA. Amazon is the top recruiter.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good in our college. Even though there are nearly 10 hostels, the maintenance is very good. The food is also cooked separately for every hostel. We have Wi-Fi facilities all over the college both in the department block and the hostel. We have both digital and physical library.

Faculty: There are vast and enough amount of teaching staff members and non-teaching staff members available in our college. Since we have lab sessions in all years, the outcome is best to the rate. Though the semester exams are tough, the staff members give the training to get through them. In the final year, there is no one with an arrear. The pass percentage is 100% which is a great achievement this year.

This is a good place to grow your knowledge.

Placements: Placement opportunities on the campus are good. Placement cell will provide placement training separately to every student, and they conduct mock interviews too, which is useful to students for giving interviews. For our batch (2016), more than 50 companies visited our college for on-campus recruitment.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is awesome. The college is under construction, and it is the best college in the surroundings. Our college has Asia's second largest convention centre. Every department has separate blocks, and each block has perfect gardening, perfect space, and perfect surroundings.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and helpful. There are minimum 5 PhD holders in each department. Staff members are helpful during our project works. Staf members even stay up to 8 pm or late night along with the students for projects works. The course curriculum is good.

Other: Our college organises lots of events for the students to develop their skills. Enthusiasm is the biggest cultural fest where you can compete with all your college mates. Swaram is also the biggest event on the campus for fundraising. There are other inter-department and intra-departmental functions.
