It is a pathway for good career.

Placements: In our course, a total of 96% was placed. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 2.2 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course were Maersk, Zoho, CTS, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, Soliton, Vuram, and SOTI. More than 60% of placements got internships from CTS, Wipro, soliton, Vuram, and SOTI. The top role offered was assistant analyst.

Infrastructure: In our college, the facilities and infrastructure are very good. It includes Wi-Fi, lab, clean restroom, library, food court, canteen, and playground. In our department, most learning is in the practical mode so more labs are present for learning. The quality of facilities in the hostel is also good including good food with a good Wi-Fi facility in the canteen and the mess. The services are good and the medical facilities in the college are also good with a doctor always present. Sports facilities include football cum cricket ground, basketball court, volleyball court, and shuttle court.

Faculty: The teachers in our department are well qualified and knowledgeable with Ph.D. Teaching is helpful for me to get a good CGPA. Learning is in an understanding manner which is mostly practical. Mostly, the course curriculum is relevant and it helps students to be ready for the industry which visit for placements. The semester exam is easy because I have understood mostly by learning everything in a practical manner. The pass percentage is 50%. We need to get above 40 in the semester examination to avoid arrears.

Other: I chose this course because I was interested to learn more about robotics.

Mechatronics in this college is great.

Placements: Over 95% of students got placed. The salary package ranges from 3 LPA to 9.5 LPA. Some of the companies are Moog, Brakes India, Range etc. Developer and testing jobs are prominent in our course. You will be trained from the third year to prepare for placements.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for all students. LAN is faster than Wi-Fi, but both of them work great. Labs are well-equipped, and you can work in labs even for the whole day after classes. The library has many books related to your course and other exams. The quality of food is better than most of the universities.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. You are encouraged to do your own projects. You can apply for competitions and funds for your work. The teachers will help you in publishing papers and journals. The course curriculum is good and useful.

Review of KEC - Kongu Engineering College.

Placements: I got placed in Accenture, and it is very helpful. Our college also provided a placement class which is very helpful for placements. In our department, they also provided us with a mock-up test and interview, which helped me in getting placed in Accenture and other core companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good, and it had a good environment for studies. I am not a hostel student. I had a very good and comfortable bus facility, which made me come to college at the correct time and attend the class at the correct time. Labs had all the instruments to have a better understanding of our course.

Faculty: Faculty members provided me with a comfort zone to learn everything.

Other: I chose this course because I had a lot of interest in Robotics. It helped me to cover both electronics and mechanical, which made the bachelor degree interesting and learned a lot of things in our department.

It has supportive teachers, broad placement opportunities and wide inter-disciplinary coordination.

Placements: Effectively 50% of the students get placed from the college. Top salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters of our college include Honda, Range, and Soliton. Almost 10% of students got internships in National Instruments, Soliton, Roots, etc. Roles offered are as a production engineer, maintenance, mechanical, software, programmer and entrepreneurs.

Infrastructure: Our department had got CNC lab, PLC lab, E-Yantra lab, 3D printer lab, project lab, tools lab, VI lab, etc. We also had a centralised library and a good Wi-Fi connection. There were separate hostels for boys and girls as per their year of graduation. The food served was healthy and decent. We had 24x7 ambulance and doctor facility. Sports quota was available. Kongu Trophy and sports day were held.

Faculty: More than 20 faculty members in our college are PhD holders. Our department is publishing R&D paper yearly, and they also received grants from MHRD. The course curriculum is based on feedback from Alumni, recruiters, industry persons and higher studies students. The curriculum is revised periodically and thus making them relevant for the current trend in the industry.

Other: I opted for this course mechatronics is the bedrock of Robotics. It has high application skewed. It is not highly relevant for PSUs and higher education in India. TBI helps in building technology driving entrepreneurs.

A very good option for doing engineering with good ROI.

Placements: The college provides very good placements. Many companies visit the college. It is one of the top colleges in terms of placements around that region.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very nice. There are separate departments for each course. There are well built labs and laboratories. There are well-qualified lab assistants to help students perform excellent experiments.

Faculty: In Mechatronics department, faculty members are the biggest pillar of support. Friendly atmosphere and good course materials. Curriculum involves both laboratories and concept papers. It helps in gaining practical knowledge also. It helped in gaining good knowledge in the course.
