A good college to join. KEC - Kongu Engineering College.
Placements: 1% of the students were placed till date, and the highest package of the year is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Solitron, Zoho, and Accenture. The top roles offered in the course are developed by the team leader of the company.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi connection is very good and the Library facilities are also very good the hostel infrastructure is too bad, and the food provided in the hostel is very bad the sports person can go to any state or country at the time of the matches the college will support them totally .
Faculty: The teachers are very good at teaching, and the knowledge they have is very useful for the students. The curriculum provided in the college is very useful, and it helps on an industrial basis. The semester will be 50% passable, and the pass percentage will be 80 to 90%.
Other: The events they conduct in the college are very fabulous, and the event named enthusiasm will be the one in which students can show their extracurricular activities, and the event named swaram will have influencers, and the revenue generated by this will be given to the orphanages.

About the KEC - Kongu Engineering College.
Placements: About 250 students will be in the colloquium course B.E. (ECE). The average salary package for ECE is INR 400,000. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Zoho, etc. visit our campus. About 85% of students will get internships at almost all companies. As a student, all my needs were fulfilled.
Infrastructure: A free Wi-Fi campus is available at the college. The labs are comfortable and perfect. Classrooms with projecting screens are good. The library is good and the books can be taken and read for the week and returned. The hostel food is good and comfortable. A food court is available and Xerox shops are on campus itself. Sports facilities are available for all students. Students can join the practice session for the zone-level competition. Hostel rooms are neat and restrooms are okay. In one room, four members can stay.
Faculty: The college is strict but faculty are good to teach and good advisors Faculty focus on their curriculum and student development skills. Their motive is to make the students relevant in the industry. The exams are not easy because some questions are asked at the K4 level and above. The pass percentage is about 75%.
Other: The most popular function will be held in the college, named Enthusiasm, in which the students can participate in various cultural events. The popular celebrity will be welcome. About 1800+ students will be participating in this every year. There are 14 courses available at the college.

Satisfied with placements and infrastructure. But faculty members are not the best.
Placements: Everyone will get a job. But only difference is salary. They put more concentration on placements. There are many clubs where you can improve and exhibit your skills. Many programs and contest will be conducted. ECE is a hard course if you have interest you can easily get a good job.
Infrastructure: The food was not excellent, but it was okay, and for non-vegetarians, only eggs are permitted. It is a strict place, and you will be provided with Wi-Fi. Mobile phones are allowed to be used only inside the hostel. Food will be the only dissatisfaction you will have. The rooms will be allotted based on first come, first served.
Faculty: Faculty members are not the best. They are just reading what they see. Only a few have good knowledge. The teaching quality is a big problem at this college. Everyone will be thinking only about marks. They did not think about improving our skills. Some faculty members are good.

Our college has above average infrastructure but good laboratories and placements.
Placements: Around 70% of our batch students get placed and placements are going on as companies are visiting our college. Around 90% of students get placed at the end of the academic year in our department.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi credentials are provided for all the students across the campus but access will be provided only for the laptops. Classrooms and lab facilities are good. Library facilities are very good. Food served in hostel is good. Sports facilities are below average in our college.
Faculty: Our batch is dissatisfied with the course curriculum but after our batch, it is better. Our department offers several credit courses and can enroll in other department courses too. Students can get exempt final year subjects with these credits and NPTEL credits. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is above 90%. Teachers in our department are very helpful and kind.

Good placement in 2023 and 2022 batch.
Placements: Above 70 to 75 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest placement package is 14 Lacs per annum and the lowest placement package is 3 lakhs or 2.5 lakh per annum. CTS is the top recruiting company in our course. Above 70 percent of students got internship in zogo. Mostly IT roles are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college has free Wi-Fi, and more than 10 labs, 5 of which have full internet access. Many software programs are available in your course, and 4 plus core labs are available in our department. Every classroom has Wi-Fi and a projector. There is one library in our department. Hostel facilities are also available 24*7 with free Wi-Fi and food. The quality of the food is better in the canteen, and medical facilities are inside our campus. Sports and games facilities are also fantastic in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and their teaching is very nice to other colleges. Most of the staff is gold medalist in our department and our HOD mam is a nice person. The exams are 2 internals from which 60 marks are converted into 40 marks and one semester is of 100 marks which is converted into 60. We can easily score 70 percent.
Other: Every year they are conducting annual day celebration which is of 3 days, they invited cinema actor yuvan last time. Our college has asian second largest auditorium.

Review of Kongu Engineering College.
Placements: Around 95-100% of students got placed in the previous year. This year, final-year students are attending and getting placed well. Capgemini, Solitron, etc., are the core companies offering salary packages more than 12 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, and Accenture are recruiting a bulk of students. Core companies are the best.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is excellent. Our college has installed a router in every classroom as, and we have 4 to 5 routers. Our classrooms have projectors, but the other 3rd-year classrooms don't. We should always go to smart classrooms to learn. Hostel rooms are good, but the food is not clean and hygienic because of which some hostelers avoid the food served in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is changed because of placements. Due to that, current semester and next semester papers are selected based on the placements. The pass percentage is 50% in CAT and 50% in main theory paper. If students get low marks in CAT, then they should get more marks in main papers to pass.
Other: I chose this course because of my parents' suggestion. I am interested in circuits, connections, and disconnections, so they told me to choose this course.

KEC - A wonderful place to learn and cherish good memories.
Placements: Placements were pretty good. Most of the students got placed in my batch. The highest package was around 8LPA and the lowest would be around 2LPA
Most of the Top IT companies participate in the recruitment drive. Most of them are software oriented and few hardware companies participated

Infrastructure: Each class and Labs have access to high-speed Wi-Fi .
Labs are equipped with the latest software and has all the proper facilities.
Classrooms are pretty good and spacious. Every department has its own Library and also a common library is there. Hostel food is pretty average to be honest. I was an hosteller for 4 years. The best thing is that even hostels have Wi-Fi facility. Medical facilities are available. There's a huge play ground and there's a separate court for games like basketball, football, badminton, volleyball and Kabaddi etc.
Faculty: The teachers have good experience in the field. Few of them are those who were the passed out students but with excellent GPA so there's nothing to worry. Course curriculum is updated once a few years. The semester exam levels are around easy to moderate level. Pass percentage is good.
Other: There are many clubs to join and enhance and develop inter personal skills and they conduct cultural fests and symposiums and much more.

Placements: Last year, 90% of students got placed. This year, 30% of students got placed. The highest salary package is 14.28 LPA by Maxlinear, the lowest is 3.8 LPA by Aspire, and the average is 4.5 LPA. Infrastructure: Our campus is good. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. All labs are available. A technology business incubator is available. Drinking water is good. A library is available, which contains many books.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly talented. Around 50% of them have completed their Ph.D. The course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that tough. If you go through the concepts clearly, you will pass easily.
Other: They encourage entrepreneurship and conduct many events to showcase our ideas.

If you are studing in 12th class then you have to score a minimum of 65% in 12th to surpass the eligibility criteria. Kongu Engineering College is one of the reputed engineering colleges in India. So, gofor it. Aim high. All the best for your future.
