You would need a good college which would give the best academics like best faculty added with a good infrastructure. It should have all the equipment needed for the field practicals and exposure to big companies that would recruit the students.

Candidates can pursue Electrical Engineering at both graduate and postgraduate level. The eligibility criterion for which is 12th with PCM/PCMB pass at least 50% from recognized board or school.
If you have completed diploma in Electrical Engineering then you are eligible to apply for the above course.

Lateral entry in B.Tech is a good option because this way you are able to take admission in the second year of B.Tech after your Diploma. The government colleges accepting B.Tech lateral entry are KIITS University, Punjab Technical University - Jalandhar, Anna University – Tamil Nadu, Punjab University - Chandigarh, MIT, CEG etc. Where there are entrance exams and you need to clear them.
